The Padres announced on Tuesday that Ha-Seong Kim has been placed on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation. The team recalled Matthew Batten from Triple-A El Paso. Kim is slashing .233/.330/.370 with 11 home runs and 22 stolen bases so far this season. Tyler Wade has filled in for Kim at shortstop in the two games he's missed so far, but it remains to be seen if the Padres will shift any of their regular starters around to fill the position.
