The Padres dropped a heartbreaker to the Brewers 1-0 on Sunday. Yu Darvish struck out 12 and allowed the game's only run on a sac-fly by Brian Anderson in the 2nd inning. Things got very interesting in the bottom of the 9th, when Brewers All-Star closer Devin Williams issued a leadoff walk to Juan Soto. After Nelson Cruz and Jake Cronenworth struck out, Ha-Seong Kim ripped a 2-out single, followed by Austin Nola drawing a walk to load the bases. Trent Grisham had a chance to tie or win the game, but struck out with the bases loaded to end the game, as the Padres dropped 3 of 4 to the Brewers. The Padres now welcome the Braves to town for a 3-game series.
