As the Aztecs prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championship Game against Utah State on Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that at least one of the team's tight ends has tested positive for Covid-19, and perhaps other players could be sidelined due to health and safety protocols.
The UT reports that San Diego State officials did not respond to requests for comment on this issue, and the Mountain West office said they are not aware of any Covid-related issues within the San Diego State program.
