The San Diego Aztecs bounced back from a disappointing week 1 loss to Arizona with an easy 38-7 win over FCS opponent Idaho State. The defense was obviously impressive, and Braxton Burmeister had an opportunity to rebound as well. The transfer quarterback completed just 58% of his passes for 108 yards and a touchdown, while averaging just 4.2 yards per attempt. The ground attack was able to carry the Aztecs, as they rushed for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns, averaging a stout 8.8 yards per carry. It's hard to take too much away from a blowout win over an FCS team, but it was nice to see the Aztecs play the way they're capable of. You can watch the highlights from Saturday's win below.
