The San Diego State Aztecs' new offense ran into a speed bump on Saturday night, as they were shutout at home by Oregon State 21-0. QB Danny O'Neil struggled mightily in his first test against an FBS opponent, completing just 11 of 24 passes for 107 yards, no touchdowns and a lost fumble. The Aztecs' weren't able to get their ground game going either. Marquez Cooper was their leading rusher with just 53 yards. The defense was able to keep SDSU in the game, with the Beavers leading just 7-0 entering the 4th quarter. But two 4th quarter touchdowns put the game away, and the Aztecs were outgained 420-179 in total yards. San Diego State will look to rebound next weekend against the Cal Bears.
