The Backstreet Boys performed Saturday night (July 2) at Budweiser Stage in Toronto as part of their DNA World Tour. The chart-topping band surprised concertgoers when they introduced Drake as the honorary "sixth member" of the group, moments before performing a rendition of "I Want It That Way."
During the concert, the GRAMMY-winning rapper even referred to the 1999 hit as one of the "greatest songs of all time," mentioning that the record has been special to him since he was 13 years old, and it was played at his bar mitzvah. Drake also performed his own hit "Hold On, We're Going Home."
The Backstreet Boys’ DNA World Tour was cut short in March 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The tour resumed in April and will continue until March 2023.
