NYC subway singer Mike Yung has gone viral multiple times for his deep and powerful voice, singing songs like “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “I’ll Be Around.” He even appeared on Season 12 of America’s Got Talent, eventually making it to the semifinals with his cover of "Thinking Out Loud." Yung has expressed a love for Sheeran’s songs, and since then, has continued to put his vintage soul spin on them. Yet, who would expect him to meet the GRAMMY winner while busking?

In a video first posted by the Instagram account @subwaycreatures and then reposted by Yung, he is singing Sheeran's “Eyes Closed” toward the camera when Ed appears from behind. He begins singing in harmony, to which Yung breaks out with a huge smile and laughter. “Oh wow, you’re the man!” he says in shock. Sheeran replies with a smile, saying, “I love you, you wanna keep singing?” The two continue singing in harmony, with Yung’s strong belt contracting against Sheeran’s light and airy tone.

For his final surprise, Sheeran pulls out two tickets to his sold-out NYC show as a gift to the busker. “Thanks for the tickets bro the show was Amazing,” Yung later wrote on Instagram.
