Lauren Smith and Jason Hornung own The Greentown Grill near Lake Wallenpaupack. They met while working in a restaurant together and now 10 years later, they own a restaurant of their own. The Covid-19 pandemic challenge their restaurant and they thank their customers and staff for helping them survive it.
Established in March 2018 they completely renovated and expanded The Greentown Grill to include seasonal open pit BBQ, an ice cream Shoppe & beautiful outdoor deck for dining. Open daily 7AM-9PM, they offer a broad menu including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Daily and weekly specials including Monday wing night & Wednesday prime rib night! The atmosphere is clean, cozy and welcoming. Building is a log cabin style with large standing stone fireplace in the center of the room.
The Covid pandemic threw them all kinds of curveballs and forced them to make decisions and changes they never imagined having to make. Lauren and Jason hope the survival of the Greentown Grill during these trying times is due to their ability to adapt and the support of our customers and community!
