"Mr. Evans was my 11th grade English teacher. He always went above and beyond to make sure his students felt comfortable and safe inside his classroom. Mr. Evans shaped me into the person I am today and currently studying education so I can become a teacher like he is. He was always in my corner, believing in me that I could do anything I set my mind to. I truly do not where I'd be today without the support and guidance I received from him when I was in 11th grade. To this day, I still think about the talks we had when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do after high school."
