Pick up some cheesecake, because a trio of elderly ladies are taking after “The Golden Girls” to endure the coronavirus pandemic.

The three friends from the UK are all in their 70s and have moved in together in a bid to quarantine themselves as the spread of COVID-19 continues around the world.

Doreen Burns, Carol Spark and Dotty Robinson have been pals for over 40 years and each spent a week in their own homes before deciding on cohabitating like the iconic television show’s characters Dorothy Zbornak, Rose Nyland and Blanche Devereaux.

"A week in our own homes in isolation, seven days, and then if we were still fit and well, we would decide which house we'd go live in," Doreen told the British morning show “BBC Breakfast.”

While they each have homes with the same amount of bedrooms, Doreen seemed adamant they would be mostly staying in her residence, even if she didn’t have a lanai.

“I have got a front room, in case we get tetchy with each other. That might be handy,” she added. "And I've got Netflix, so we could watch 'The Crown.' So I think I'm the winner.”

Regardless of whose home they isolate themselves in, all three were in agreement as to what essentials they would be stockpiling. And it isn’t toilet paper!

“We'll have a supply of wine in," joked Dotty, as Carol showed off one of their bottles.

Last week, Betty White was forced to give an update on her health status after fans began inquiring about the "Golden Girls" star amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Worry began to grow on social media about the 98-year-old after Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson confirmed they had both tested positive for coronavirus.

But there was no reason to be alarmed, a rep for White told the “Today” show, “Betty is fine.”

The British ladies’ plan to social distance themselves comes as the CDC has maintained older adults over 60, and especially those over 80, are most prone to become seriously ill from the pandemic.
