We can assume Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ children will be cute, but now they’re showing they might be budding directors too.

Yesterday, as E! Online reports, Mendes posted a quick clip to her Instagram. In it, the lovely Mendes walks around in three colorful patterned summer dresses, sporting a different bag with each ensemble, and all soundtracked with a plucky synth track.
“My kids shot this,” Mendes captioned the clip.
It's unclear if they edited the video as well, but either way, the video is impressive given their young age to be capturing such steady camera work — Esmeralda is 6, and Amada is 5.
Not only is it a wonderful clip to check out, its contents go to a good cause.
Mendes explains in the caption that a main reason she picked her new favorite fashion brand to hype was because "@terziburmade is a new fashion line focused on providing fair wages and equity for women who are at risk for sweatshop and forced labor.”
She continued, "Their mission is to create a world where… ‘NO HUMANS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS PRODUCT.'"
While Mendes and Gosling are fine with their kids getting used to being behind the camera, they are — not unlike Channing Tatum — still protective of paparazzi shooting the kids in front, as E! Online reported last year:
"I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids," Eva wrote. "I'll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won't post pictures of our daily life. And since my children are still so little and don't understand what posting their image really means, I don't have their consent. And I won't post their image until they're old enough to give me consent."
As earlier reported, the famous couple has an aversion to too much social media sharing in general, as she made clear in a 2020 Instagram post comment:
“My man and my kids are private,” she insisted. “That’s important to me so thanks for getting that. Have a beautiful day. Sending so much love!”
Avoiding cameras has got to be pretty tough for the photogenic pair, especially for Ryan of late, as he’ll be starring in the highest-budgeted Netflix film yet, “The Gray Man.” No release date is set for the thriller.
