Rolling Stone gave the internet a nice surprise today when they published the piece titled “Stillwater Runs Deep!” Yes, the actual story William Miller wrote in Almost Famous.
Miller’s character was based on the teenage experiences of Cameron Crowe following major Rock acts across the country. The film celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020, something Crowe and the rest of the Almost Famous cast discussed on Audacy’s Origins with James Andrew Miller podcast.
