Concert footage of the iconic Guns N’ Roses covering '90s Grunge-rockers Soundgarden has emerged online, recorded back in 2019 at Tennessee’s Exit 111 festival.

The GN'R version of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" is of the highest live quality, professionally recorded and released for the band’s ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’ video series.

Titled Not In This Lifetime Selects: Exit 111, the video also features live versions of "Live And Let Die," "Knockin’ On Heaven's Door," "Paradise City," and more. Watch the full clip above. "Black Hole Sun" begins at 6:30.

The release brings the two bands full circle. The estate of late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell released a posthumous covers album in December 2020 which features his own takes on John Lennon, ELO, Prince, and more.

Cornell's version of the GN'R Lies track "Patience" on the release took the top spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart earlier this year marking the first recording from the late Soundgarden frontman to hit number one following his death in 2017.
