Songs of the Day!

"The Look Of Love" - ABC
The song was inspired by a real-life breakup singer Martin Fry had gone through, and the girl saying "goodbye" at the end of the second verse is the ACTUAL girl that broke up with him!

"The Reflex" - Duran Duran
Though many believe the song has some sort of deep context, leader singer Simon Le Bon says he has "no clue" what the song actually means.  In fact, the band recorded it after partaking in a few bottles of wine.

"Jungle Love" - Morris Day and the Time
Morris Day and the Time were put together by Prince in 1981, and Prince's original demo of the song, which he wrote under the pseudonym Jamie Starr, was released in the 2019 posthumous album 'Originals.'

"Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" – Glass Tiger
The song was written and recorded on the first day the band got together to record the album 'The Thin Red Line,'  and if you listen closely, you'll hear backing vocals which were provided by fellow Canadian musician Bryan Adams.
