Songs of the Day!

"Burning Down The House" - Talking Heads
Drummer Chris Frantz kept yelling "Burn down the house" during a jam session with singer David Byrne, which was a Parliament-Funkadelic audience chant.  Byrne dug the chant, and turned it into a song.

"Somebody's Watching Me" - Rockwell
Officials at Motown came up with the name "Rockwell."  They thought Prince and Madonna were doing well with one name, and decided on "Rockwell" after someone saw a photo of a Norman Rockwell painting. And if that sounds like Michael Jackson singing on the track, it is. Rockwell's sister was dating Jermaine Jackson at the time, which is how he got Michael to sing on it.

"One Night In Bangkok" - Murray Head
Song was banned in 1985 by Thailand's Mass Communications Organization, saying its lyrics "cause misunderstanding about Thai society and show disrespect towards Buddhism."

"Living In America" - James Brown
This was Brown's only Top Ten single in the UK, and was featured prominently in 'Rocky IV,' during Apollo Creed's and Rocky Balboa's fights against Ivan Drago.
