Every Wednesday along with playing some of your favorite songs you may not have heard in a while, Miles in the Morning likes to give you some of our favorite Oh Wow Wednesday Facts of the Day!
Here are some of our favorite facts from February 24, 2021!

Songs of the Day!
"It's My Life" – Bon Jovi
The line "For Tommy and Gina, who never backed down," is indeed a reference to "Livin' On A Prayer," which featured Tommy and Gina as young people trying to get by in tough times.
"Lies" – Thompson Twins
The song actually performed better in the US than in the band's native UK, peaking at #30 on the US charts and only reaching #67 across the pond. The chorus is simple by design. The band wanted to mimic a "taunting schoolyard chant."
"Whisper To A Scream" – Icicle Works
They took their name from the short story "The Day The Icicle Works Closed," written by American science fiction author Frederik Pohl, and if you listen closely, you'll hear it at the end of the season 2 Stranger Things episode "The Lost Sister."
"Money For Nothing" – Dire Straits
Sting sings on the song, and also shares a writing credit. He initially didn't want one, but his record company did because they would have earned royalties from it.
And in lieu of the regular Facts of the Day, Miles in the Morning threw a curveball, and wanted to hear your best Ghost Stories, and they got some good ones. Enjoy!
