It seems harder than ever for young adults to find a job these days.  We have a sneaking suspicion that this might be a big reason why.

According to the website ResumeTemplates.com, 25% of Gen Z adults have brought one of their parents to interview for a job!

Now for the most part, it's not like the parent sat in on the interview itself; 37% of employers said the parents accompanied the candidate to the office but didn't actually go into the room with them.

26% of them said however that the parents DID sit in on the interview!  18% said the parent introduced themselves to the hiring manager, and that 7% even answered questions for their child.

If the candidate gets hired, does the parent involvement stop there?  Do you think their moms have ever scheduled a playdate with the boss to negotiate for a raise?
