31-year-old Liz White moved from Philadelphia to Florida after breaking up with her boyfriend and needed a place to stay, and she had no other option but live out every 30-year-old's worst nightmare: Moving back in with their parents.
The thing is, her parents live in a retirement community of sorts, where all of the residents are north of 55-years-old, and Liz is living her best life.
She explains in a video she posted on TikTok, "Basically, I am retired in my soul, but not in my bank account that requires me to have a full-time job. Another unit became available for rent in the building, and the rest is history."
While the building doesn't have an age requirement, there are only two other working people in the building while the rest are retired, but that's been no problem for Liz.
She and her neighbors regularly dine together at communal meals, and often share a nightcap on the beach. And just last month, she traveled to Austria to celebrate a neighbor's 80th birthday!
