In this digital age of filters and catfishing, you can never be too sure the stranger you're talking to online looks exactly like the photos they post.
A new poll of 2,000 Americans from YouGov reveals that half of us actually think we look better in real life than we do in our photographs. 13% actually believe we look better in photos than in-person.
23% of people say there's "no difference," and 15% aren't sure.
As in most cases in life, dudes have no opinion. Women are more likely to say they look better in-person, while men were more likely to say it makes "no difference."
The survey also asked if "being photogenic" was a skill. 21% of respondents think it's something that can be learned, while 54% say it comes naturally.
