Yesterday during our One Thing, Rebekah mentioned a self-help book of sorts titled Smart Girls Marry Money: How Women Have Been Duped Into the Romantic Dream--And How They're Paying For It.
The idea of the book is women shouldn't focus on marrying for love anymore, and instead marry whoever will put you in the best financial situation.
With how much Jeff loves "love," you can imagine how much hearing about this book upset him.
So this begs the question for our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning: If you could do it all over again….choose someone different to marry based solely on where they ended up financially…would you?
