9% of people regret that they no longer play the recorder

We all probably have a list of regrets in our lives.  Some things that we wish we did, or didn’t do when we were younger.

We thought we’d be pretty hard-pressed to find people like this, but color us shocked!

In a recent survey from YouGov, 9% of people admitted that they regret not continuing to play the recorder after elementary school.

Yeah, 9%.

11% of folks also regret putting down the trombone, and more 50% that learned the guitar at some point wish they still played.

The survey also looked at what instruments people are more likely to teach themselves to play.

The results found the most self-taught instruments include the harmonica, ukulele, electric guitar, electric piano, electric bass, the drums, and the guitar.

The LEAST self-taught instruments include the trumpet, the recorder, the clarinet, the flute, the sax, the violin, and the piano.
