Joan Queller just celebrated her 90th birthday and her favorite place in the world: Whataburger.
The San Antonio woman began working at Texas' favorite restaurant 12 years ago, at an age when many of her friends and cohorts had long been retired.
Robert Haggard, an operating partner for Whataburger, said in a video that Queller is "an ambassador who greets the customers and makes them feel like they are part of the family."
Rob Rodriguez, executive vice president and COO of Whataburger Restaurants, told MySanAntonio, "I remember meeting her in the dining room and her being out there and making a lot of our great guests so happy. Whataburger is a place where goodness lives, and Joan is definitely a prime example of that. We are honored and proud she's part of our Whataburger family."
