We're still on the heels of the pandemic and trying to navigate a world of rising costs and political turmoil, though most Americans have found a way to cope with all the stress: Buying treats for themselves!
A new study has found that more Americans are "treating themselves" more than EVER before!
Conducted by OnePoll for JaM Cellars, the poll of 2,000 Americans, aged 21 and over found that 64% of us are living "more in the moment," while 74% are more focused on the future compared to pre-pandemic times.
And how are we living in the moment? By "rewarding" ourselves with various splurges and purchases at least six times a month!
Now what constitutes a "splurge" is up to the individual, but according to The New York Post, 32% defined it as "something enjoyable," 24% said they considered the "fun factor" of whatever the treat is, 25% said it was all about enjoying "me time," 21% opted for a frosty beverage, and 21% simply said "online shopping."
Michele Truchard, co-founder of JaM Cellars, said, "It's great to see that more Americans than ever are choosing to live their best lives every day. We've realized we don't have to wait for special occasions, birthday gatherings, or even the weekend to enjoy life or a glass of your favorite wine.
"Importantly, indulgences that bring you joy, shouldn't have to break the bank. Great quality, easy-to-love, affordable wines can make any day more delicious."
