With all the crazy weather and power outages we've had lately, we've been told to "be ready" to take shelter multiple times. So this weekend, the Texas Comptroller's office is offering a tax-free weekend to stock up on provisions.
The 2022 Emergency Preparation Supplies Tax-Free Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 23rd and ends at midnight on Monday, April 25th. Some of the items you can purchase include: coolers, first-aid kits, gas cans, generators, batteries, axes, radios, fire extinguishers, etc.
