A California man was initially denied service at Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles, a Los Angeles-based restaurant chain, because he refused to wear a mask.
Well, it's hard to keep a man away from his waffles, because shortly after being denied service, he returned to the restaurant, still not wearing a mask, but with a gun in hand, and demanded all of their chicken.
Cook Robert Gonzalez told KABC, "He comes straight toward me with a gun, pointing at me and saying put all the chicken in the bag. I almost got shot over stupidity, I guess. I understand our chicken is good, but, I mean, that's some expensive chicken he's got there." Manager Angela Prieto added, "He didn't take any cash, but before he walked out the door he took syrup for his chicken."
The suspect was gone by the time police arrived to the restaurant, and he has yet to be found. Police did confirm another man was with him, though he didn't speak and he was wearing a mask.
