You probably know someone who uses a lot of emojis when they send text messages. Maybe you are that person.
Whoever they are, they might be intrigued to learn that pretty soon, emojis will not be limited to our texts.
Google has already started rolling out audio emojis, that can be played during phone calls that both people will be able to hear!
According to Mashable, the effect is only currently available for Google Phone app users, and there are only six to start: Clapping, Laughing, Party, Crying, the Drum, and the Poop emoji.
The blog 9to5Google has some samples of what the emojis sound like.
No word on when audio emojis might be coming, if ever, to Apple or other phones.
