The world is constantly trying to adapt to existing in a time where Covid is inevitable. New variants keep popping up, and it appears that's it's just something we're all going to have learn how to live with.

For several bands, including Metallica, Tool, Eric Church, and The Black Keys, this means employing the use of Covid-sniffing dogs to help detect the virus in crew members, entourage, and backstage guests.

Currently, 12 dogs from the Ohio-based Bio-Detection K9 are in rotation to sniff out the virus, with eight currently in-training.

John Peets of Q Prime, the management company that represents Church and Metallica, told the Rolling Stone, "So far, knock on wood, the dogs have been knocking it out of the park. We haven't had a dog miss anybody."

Bio-Detection K9 says the dogs are faster and friendlier than a regular test, and not to mention cheaper! A dog test costs around $2 a person.
