The First dog has found himself in a little bit of trouble this week after what reports have called a "biting incident."
The German Shepherd, a rescue dog named Major, was confirmed to have bitten an "unfamiliar person" according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki. She said in a statement to CNN, "[Champ and Major] are still getting acclimated and accustomed to their surroundings and new people, and on Monday, the first family's younger dog, Major, was surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual."
Major, along with the Biden's other German Shepherd Champ, were sent to Delaware after the incident, which the White House says was a "planned before the incident," which was timed with first lady Jill Biden's tour of military bases.
According to Yahoo!, Major and Champ would be returning to the White House soon, and the person bitten only suffered minor injuries.
Major is the first rescue dog to ever reside in the White House.
