Borderline Toxic, a Green Day cover band, were performing at Slim Jim's Liquor Store in Islington, London when they received the most unexpected surprise.
At the time they were performing, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong happened to be in the bar, so of course…he decided to hop on stage and join them for a performance!
The band's lead singer Kerry Glass told the BBC, "Eleven-year-old me panicked. I think I did three circles just running around the stage until he was like, 'Come on, sing with me.'"
Billie Joe Armstrong reportedly vowed to move to the UK in protest against changes to US abortion laws last year, but it seems that his appearance at Slim Jim's Liquor Store was just an incredible coincidence.
Kerry says that she has been listening to Green Day since she was 11-years-old.
"I used to sit in my bedroom and listen to all their albums. So I've got zero chill over this. This is amazing," she said.
