In 2013, New York man Anthony Ragusa was injured on the job while working as an electrician, suffering several injuries that made it difficult for him to work.
Ragusa ended up filing for disability as his injuries made it difficult to put on shoes, walk for more than 15 minutes, and sit for more than a half-hour at a time.
Up until last year, Ragusa had been collecting disability. Unfortunately, Ragusa is now facing charges of disability fraud after pictures show the New York man working out and training to become a bodybuilder, all while he was collecting disability.
In fact, some of these pictures were posted on Ragusa's wife's Instagram!
In a November, 2019 image, a time when Ragusa was still fully collecting disability due to not being able to work, Loly Ragusa describes Anthony as her "partner in crime," as the two are posing together at the gym.
Investigators also say Ragusa started getting into bodybuilding in 2017, three years before he stopped claiming disability.
According to Fox News, Ragusa is now facing felony charges of grand larceny, and offering a false instrument for filing.
