Every morning we like to wrap up our show with a story that makes you feel good, and this one is a little bit different.
It comes from a member of the Miles in the Morning family!
Rebekah received an email from Laura that read:
On 1/26/22 my daughter was in a catastrophic motorcycle accident, she had 22 broken bones, she is wheelchair bound for many months to come, there is still a possibility of losing her leg.
She is a single mother of 3 babies, 6,4, and 1 1/2.
The FEEL GOOD part is what follows!
We live in Boyd, TX our little town is AMAZING!
Our community has rallied around our family! They have brought groceries, pull ups, and every day items.
Our local churches, Friendship Baptist of Boyd and Cates St. Baptist of Bridgeport donated the lumber for a deck and ramp and our very good friends Dustin and Tony Rogers (father &son) built it.
Amy Proudfoot is heading up a benefit for her on May 14th,2022. The proceeds will be given to Cody for future utilities, and medical needs.
Also several Angels have paid for daycare for my young grandson, along with our dear friend Tony,it's $800/ month, it is paid through May!
Juanita Bullard is making Tshirts for her as well all proceeds will go to Cody, they will have the following;
