Last year, a man named Floyd Hayes went viral when in early 2020, he tried to register a pint of beer as an emotional support animal.
Well what started as a joke has become a reality, as Woodstock Brewing out of New York has just released a brand new Citra IPA called "Emotional Support Beer."
Even more so, according to Fox News, a portion of the proceeds from the beer will go towards Operation At Ease, an organization that pairs shelter dogs with deserving veterans and first responders.
A news release for the beer reads, "In these trying times it has been ever more important that we provide and accept Emotional Support from those that are close to us. Woodstock Brewing is launching this initiative to give thanks to those who supported us and to give back to those in need."
