When Confections bakery in Lufkin posted a photo of rainbow, heart-shaped cookies in support of Pride month, they received a bevy of backlash which included many customers canceling their orders.

Through all the backlash Confections received, they received way more support, and a line of customers ending up forming around the block to get in.

The support even came from some notable Dallas residents, including Brian Cuban, brother of the Mavs owner Mark who wrote on the bakery's Facebook page, "When things slow down a bit-let us know if shipping is possible. I'd like to support you."

Since shipping wasn't available, Cuban offered another solution! He continued, "Added: If shipping isn't possible, I'll buy some by phone/email and you can donate my cookies to a local LGBTQ org or children's charity."

Well, thanks to the support of Cuban and thousands of others, Confections ended up completely selling out of product, and had to close early!

Cuban told the Dallas Morning News, "Many of us realize that that's one battle and the fight doesn't end for equality. It's an every day, every moment thing."

Confections actually sold out the following Saturday as well. Dawn Cooley, co-owner of the bakery, said, "In the 11 years we've been open we've never seen anything quite like this. My sister and co-owner Miranda and our fabulous baker Felicia are just so humbled and grateful and moved by this outpouring of love."
