Bochy’s hat size is 8 1⁄8 inches, which for those unfamiliar would make it one of the biggest hats in history.

According to Around the Foghorn, when Bochy was an active player and traded to a new team, he had to bring his old helmet with him that the team repainted because they didn’t have one that would fit!

Bochy becomes the 20th full-time manager in Rangers history.

He said during his introductory press conference with the team, “When I look at this team and I look at the core players, and the deep system and the vision that CY (general manger Chris Young) has, I get excited. I just see tons of potential for next year and years beyond.”
