One of the yearly traditions for most families hosting Thanksgiving is the realization that your frozen turkey has not had enough time to thaw properly.

It's the sudden panic and contentious arguments between partners that really make the holiday feel special.

Butterball wants to rid us all of that yearly Thanksgiving scramble though and have introduced a "cook from frozen" Thanksgiving turkey that doesn't need to be thawed!

It's called Butterball Cook from Frozen, and the company says it's great for people who don't like touching raw meat as there's no neck or giblets, and it comes pre-brined.  All that's expected of you is to brush some oil on it.

The directions literally say "Unwrap . . . Cook."

The average cook time is about five hours, and Butterball claims the turkey comes out just as "juicy, tender, and flavorful" as a normal turkey does.
