We know there seems to be a holiday for everything and today is no exception, but this might be the most important holiday of them all.
Today is National Taco Day! We told you it was important.
As is tradition, there are a TON of restaurants offering great deals on all your favorite tacos around North Texas, so there is no doubt you’ll be able to get your taco fix somewhere across the Metroplex.

Barrel & Bones
The restaurant will offer $2 street tacos with smoked chicken tinga or al pastor, quesabirria tacos for $3, and $5 Tito’s drinks all day long.
Cantina Laredo
At their Addison and Frisco locations, Cantina Laredo will be debuting a new taco, an Ahi Tuna Taco that features sushi-grade tuna, jicama, ginger slaw, guacamole, pickled red onion and chipotle aioli in a crisp corn tortilla.
El Chingon
El Chingon in Fort Worth will be debuting This Fort Worth restaurant will debut its new Bad Ass Choco Taco today, along with new happy hour offerings. The Choco Taco is a housemade waffle cone stuffed with brown sugar cinnamon ice cream, coated with milk chocolate and topped with toasted peanuts
Chuy’s
If you dress up as a taco and post a photo on social media using the #ChuysTacoDay you can get a free dine-in entrée of your choice. You can also add a taco for just $1 to any dine-in entrée on Wednesday.
El Chico
At El Chico in Rockwall, you can add a taco to any entrée for just $2 when you mention the promotion.
Federales
They will be offering $4 tacos and a $30 quesabirria taco platter featuring five tacos with rice and beans.
Fish City Grill
Fish City Grill and Half Shells will offer special pricing on tacos and Tito’s vodka drinks on Oct. 4. All taco plates will be available for $12, and all Tito’s cocktails will be $
Legacy Hall
Chilangos Tacos on the first floor of the food hall will be offering $1.50 al pastor tacos all day long
7-Eleven
At participating locations, rewards members can grab 10 mini tacos for just $2.
Taco Bell
You can get two crunchy tacos and two Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos for just $5.
On the Border
You can get $2 classic tacos and $4 southwest chicken tacos and brisket tacos.
Fuzzy’s
Reward members can get two free Baja tacos with a purchase of $5 or more.
Velvet Taco
The winner of Velvet Taco’s recipe contest will star as the Weekly Taco Feature this week. The winner was the Welly Welly by Bret Schafer of Houston, a spin on the classic Beef Wellington, with a Dijon glazed filet, mushroom duxelle, crispy prosciutto ham, red wine demi, and thyme puff pastry in a flour tortilla. It will be available for $7.95!
