The Los Angeles resident spotted a rather nice chair available for purchase on Facebook Marketplace for just $50, so he snatched it up pretty quick.

Later, that very chair was sold in a Sotheby’s auction, where it garnered a final bid of $85,000!
According to BoingBoing.net, the chair is from 1935, and was described by Sotheby’s as a "Rare High-back Wing Chair" from Danish furniture designer Frits Henningsen.
It was only estimated to sell for between $30,000 and $50,000.
