You're probably one of the 99% of people who plug their phone in before you go to bed so it can charge overnight.
Apparently, you should stop doing that immediately.
Research says that charging your phone overnight can actually damage your battery!
According to experts at ZDnet, even though smart phones these days charge in a "smart" way, they're still keeping the battery warmer than room temperature throughout the night, which is bad for the battery over time.
Instead, the experts recommend charging your phone for about 30 to 45 minutes in the morning when you wake up, and then for another 30 minutes in the mid-afternoon to get it around 80%.
This way, your phone spends less than two hours a day on chargers, which is a lot less time, and much more healthier for your battery, than if you charge it overnight.
