Pop culture always has a tendency to circle things we thought were obscure into the limelight again. How many of us have record players currently because we enjoy buying Vinyl again?

That even extends to our phones, because more and more people are ditching their iPhones and Androids aka "Smart phones" for classic "dumb phones."

Remember the classic Nokia 3310? It felt like you were holding a brick and you could drop it from anywhere and it just wouldn't break? They're surging in popularity.

These phones are making quite the comeback as people are wary of living a life that is "drowned in technology," according to World Crunch.

Having access to so much of the world in a device that can fit into our pockets can be overwhelming for a lot of folks, and the nostalgia for a simpler time is making these phones more popular than ever in this smartphone era.

Aïna Skjellaug, author the piece, wrote, "from time to time I'd also like to get a break. I'd also like for my phone to be just a phone, not something that ties me down, creates anxiety, becomes addiction. I wish I could spend more than five hours away from home without needing a charger."

Remember when our phones were just that, PHONES?! Such a simpler time! We crave it!
