This past weekend was the first for the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Unfortunately, some attendees, who spent upwards on $200 for tickets, left the festival in a sour mood after one of the marquee performers no showed her appearance.

The artist was Hatsune Miku, a hologram singer created in 2007.  For nearly two decades, this AI singer has entertained audiences, but unfortunately that was not the case at Coachella over the weekend as technical difficulties prevented her from "appearing" as a hologram.

Instead, per SFGate, fans were treated to a giant digital screen during Miku's performance, leaving fans angered that an actual hologram didn't appear.

Unfortunately for fans, Hatsune Mike isn't scheduled to "appear" during Coachella's second weekend.  Well she didn't really "appear" weekend one either!
