College is an experimental time for a lot of kids. It's a chance to finally break free, and finally discover who you are as a person, and an adult.
And for many, that involves a lot of alcohol.
In fact, a new study from Penn State University found that the average college student suffers 102 "booze-related consequences" over their four years of study, ranging from everything to "hangovers, missing class, blacking out, and 'embarrassing yourself.'"
The study found hangovers to be the most common consequence, as 97% will have at least one hangover in four years of undergrad.
Saying or doing something embarrassing is next on the list at 96%.

The study found that students who think their parents would disapprove of alcohol-related nonsense tend to experience less of those consequences.
