With inflation and the cost of living continually on the rise, we're all looking to make a quick buck, right?
Well can we interest you in some cockroaches?
A North Carolina company is offering homeowners $2,000 to allow them to release 100 cockroaches into their homes in order to test "a specific pest control technique."
The Pest Informer is looking for five to seven homes to test out the new techniques, and at the end of the study, if the cockroach infestation isn't gone, promises to use "traditional cockroach treatment options at no cost" to get rid of the pests.
In order to be eligible, homeowners must meet a few qualifications:
-You must own the home or have written approval from the homeowner.-You must be 21 years or older to qualify.-You must be located in the Continental United States.-You must not try any additional cockroach treatments during the duration of the study.
The study will take a total of 30 days, and according to the New York Post, the cockroach treatments used are family and pet safe.
