Wedding these days are more than just a celebration of love for a couple, it's a chance to show off and make other people jealous.
With that in mind, weddings can get really expensive to put together, though one couple in Chicago thought of a way they could save a little scratch on their big day: charge their guests.
Newlyweds Nova and Reemo Styles charged each of their guests $333 to attend their wedding ceremony.
Nova decided to charge each of their guests, explaining to ABC 7, "People choose to go to Beyoncé concert, because they know that they're gonna have an experience. Let's put the stress on the guests, and let's sell tickets for a wedding."
Though there was a lot of push back, some guests did indeed fork over the cash, which earned them a seat on a double-decker bus for a 12-hour adventure through New York City.
Nova and Reemo ended up saving $70,000 by charging their guests.
