The cost of housing is rising with seemingly no end in sight.  How can anyone afford to live ANYWHERE these days?

A Canadian woman named Raychel and her husband Nick have figured out a way to save over $31,000 on rent!  All they do is live in an old ambulance!

Sounds fun, right?  Well before you pass judgement, wait until you see the renovations these two have made.

They completely redid the interior, installing a full-length queen mattress a kitchen, and even a toilet.  The couples takes showers at a gym.

Raychel and Nick are constantly on the road, and make money working temporary and seasonal jobs. Otherwise, she says per the New York Post that the couple cuts costs by "living minimally and finding cheap travel deals."

Raychel and Nick say they love the van life, and despite its ups and downs, it's worth it, "because your lifestyle will open up to a million possibilities," Raychel says.
