Doug and Dedra Simmons of Chicago recently had their dream, destination wedding in Jamaica and like most couples on their wedding day, had to deal with a couple of no-shows.
However, unlike most couples, the Simmons' decided to send their no-show guests an invoice to the tune of $120 for each empty seat at the reception!
And of course, the reaction is completely split on this idea.
I wish I'd thought of this. A third of the people who RSVP'd for our wedding didn't show up. We paid for a LOT of food that went to waste (though it was a LOT LESS than than $120 a plate).

According to the NY Post, Doug and Dedra have said this is not about collecting money, they just thought it was disrespectful.
