Pam and Jeremy Salda were headed from OKC to Las Vegas to get married. Pam (Patterson at the time) even wore her wedding dress on the plane. The couple had a connecting flight at DFW Airport when they learned their next leg had been canceled.
Since the bride and groomed were already dressed for the occasion, the captain suggested they get hitched in the sky. A passenger who happened to be an officiant volunteered to do the ceremony, and a flight attendant acted as a bridesmaid having people sign a makeshift guest book.
Mrs. Salda walked down the aisle... of the aircraft, and the crowd cheered when they said, "I do". Now they'll have a great story for years to come!
