Dak Prescott reportedly booed off field as he left with thumb injury

The video clip also shows people tossing trash his way.
Quarterback Dak Prescott #4 of the Dallas Cowboys walks away from the podium during the post-game press conference after a 19-3 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium on September 11, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. Prescott left the game with a hand injury in the fourth quarter.

As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I refuse to believe that Cowboys Nation would act this way, but multiple sources are reporting that a video clip supposedly from Sunday night's game is legit. And it does not make us look good.

It was just after quarterback Dak Prescott injured his thumb (which resulted in a Monday surgery). Number 4 is seen darting off the field and as he enters the tunnel, a couple pieces of debris are thrown his way. The crowd is seemingly booing. I didn't hear it last night when I watched the game, but I was admittedly a little tipsy. This :05-clip doesn't allow for much context.

We're better than this. From that angle, there's a possibility those pieces of trash were tossed by fans of another team. Even so, this was also reportedly from the same game. It's a group of people wearing Cowboys jerseys jumping a solo dude. (**Language NSFW**)

I'm honestly embarrassed to be a card-carrying member of Cowboys Nation today. And not because of how the team played or because of the outcome. It's because of animals like this who make an entire fanbase look bad. We are not the same.
