Remember when the streets of Dallas were finally clean of e-scooters and bikes only for them to return earlier this year?
Even though they were brought back with new rules and restrictions, the same problems still persisted.
Since the re-birth of Dallas' "dockless vehicle program" at the end of May, nearly 700 complaints (674 to be exact) were filed through July 17. Who knows how many complaints they're up to in the nine days since!
Jessica Scott with the Dallas Transportation Department told NBC DFW that the majority of complaints center on "improper parking or storage of the vehicles."
She said, "We're extremely satisfied with the response that the operators are showing. They're improving rapidly. And for now, we're satisfied with that response and really just allowing some time for these growing pains to resolve."
