Study finds Dallas will lose a lot of residents due to remote working opportunities

Even though it seems we can see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding the pandemic, the world will be forever changed long after it is over, including the state of remote working.

It appears that many companies will allow their employees to continue working from home long after offices fully open to its employees. And, of course, remote working opens up the possibility to potentially live anywhere while maintaining your current position.


With that in mind, a study has found the five cities most likely to see a mass exit of remote workers who will choose to live away from the city in which they are employed.

According to Newser, the top five cities most likely to lose a lot of citizens include:
-Bridgeport, CT
-Dallas, TX
-Newark, NJ
-New York City (includes White Plains, northern NJ)
-Washington, DC (includes Maryland, northern Virginia)

In conjunction, the top five cities to see a massive influxion of people include:
-Daphne, AL
-Eugene, OR
-Ithaca, NY
-Pittsfield, MA
-Port St. Lucie, Fla
