Dallas Zoo welcomed two new tigers to the family on December 6, 2021. Tuesday, they announced the cubs' names. Both of them honor conservationists. Nety is named after Nety Riana Sari who works with World Wide Fund for Nature.
Rudi's namesake is Rudi Putra, National Geographic Fellow and director of the Leuser Conservation Forum. The cubs are "best friends" according to the zoo.
